Judgement before volume
Costas Tsirides built the practice on a simple rule: accept fewer matters, and stay close to each one. We still work that way.

About the firm
Founded in Limassol in 1970, Tsirides Law advises businesses, investors and international families on the matters that shape them.
Our story
Costas Tsirides opened the practice in 1970 — a one-man office in Limassol, advising the families and businesses of a young republic. Pavlina Tsirides joined him soon after, and together they built the firm into one of Cyprus' leading independent practices.
Over the decades the clients changed — banks and financial institutions, entrepreneurs and international families across Cyprus, Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Ukraine — and so the firm changed with them, moving from a traditional general practice into sophisticated corporate, private client and international advisory work.
Today the practice is led by Alexandros Tsirides, Photini Tsiridou and Irina Loutchina Skittides. They have modernised the firm, but not its character — the same judgement, discretion and continuity of counsel that has carried it since 1970.
Our history since 1970
Costas Tsirides opens a one-man general practice in Limassol, advising the families, merchants and shipowners of a young republic still finding its footing.
Pavlina Tsirides joins the practice and together they begin to shape it — building the client base and the reputation that would carry the firm through the decades that followed.
As Cyprus becomes a bridge between Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Ukraine, the firm grows into sophisticated corporate and international advisory work for banks, entrepreneurs and institutions.
Alexandros Tsirides, Photini Tsiridou and Irina Loutchina Skittides take the practice forward — modernising the firm while holding to the standards Costas and Pavlina set down.
Fourteen lawyers in one Limassol office, working in four languages, advising businesses, investors and private clients across borders — the same practice, fifty years on.

Three generations of practice
Three generations have carried the practice. Costas Tsirides founded it in 1970; Pavlina Tsirides helped build it; and today Alexandros Tsirides, Photini Tsiridou and Irina Loutchina Skittides lead the firm across corporate, private client and international advisory work.
What passed between them was not a client list but a standard — considered judgement, absolute discretion, and the discipline to say no. Different generations, the same counsel.
Meet the firm →Our philosophy
Costas Tsirides built the practice on a simple rule: accept fewer matters, and stay close to each one. We still work that way.
Most of our best work is never published. Confidentiality is not a policy here; it is how the practice has always been organised.
We advise the second and third generation of the same families and businesses. That horizon changes the advice we give and the risks we counsel against.
International outlook
Our clients rarely have a single jurisdiction. They hold assets in Europe, trade with the Gulf, raise capital in London and settle families in Limassol. We work at those intersections every day.
Where a matter requires foreign counsel, we appoint and coordinate them ourselves — the client keeps one point of contact and one accountable adviser.
